Spanglish is a morphosyntactic and semantic fusion between English and Spanish. There are a lot of English terms bad translated that people introduce in Spanish, like “parquear”, “ir de shopping” y “mopear”. This language is used in The United States. The cause of this is because the influence of the latino American during the years, has led to an undeniable cultural fusion. The use of Spanglish has spread, in everyday life and in mass communication.
We can’t consider the Spanglish like a language, it will not succeed replacing the Spanish in EE.UU.
In one hand, there are a lot of people that don’t like the Spanglish, because they think that’s horrible the mix two languages of different origin, and it’s harmful for both languages.
And in other hand, there are people that think that use Spanglish helps them to communicate as a colloquial way, is a need communicative and it shows creativity.
I think that the Spanglish is not a language, and never is going to be it (and never is going to have a dictionary, as well), but people that live in that ambient, they can use the Spanglish for communicate like a colloquial way, between friends or family. We also have bad use of the Spanish in many cases, and it doesn’t mean that the Spanish is going to be amended.
